Well folks I am a true southerner I am one who use to chase the ice wagon just to get pieces of ice from the ice wagon.Boy did that ice taste good.Better than a pig at slop time, I bet.hahaha Enduring the 100 degree temperature here now, makes me think of the times I use to sit under a shade tree, with a piece of card board fanning. Ever do that?OH, and food, ever go poke salad hunting, and cook it.They say if you didn't par boil it , it was poision to eat, But I never took that chance.Cooked it right, then at the last, fried it in bacon grease, then scramble some eggs up in it.Sound YUCKY??? Hey there is a Polk Salad Festival here in Alabama now. So don't knock it till you try it. Well I will shut my lil old mouth and wait to see if anyone adds to this.Will be interesting, right haha so till then ,dont let the bed bugs bite Misty
